Gems and sockets
Set a gem into Fine, Rare, Epic or Legendary gear for a bonus that lasts.
How sockets work
- Normal gear: 0 sockets.
- Fine gear: 1 socket.
- Rare gear: 1 socket.
- Epic gear: 2 sockets.
- Legendary gear: 2 sockets.
- Use a jeweller's bench with the gear in your bag (not worn). Choose the piece, then click a gem.
- Taking a gem back out costs 150 GP; you keep the gem.
- Socketed gear keeps its gems in the bag, the bank and when you trade. It sells for half the gems' value more.
