Thornwood

A cursed forest between Fernwood and Highmoor: thorn wolves, witches, twisted treants and the Hag Coven. For levels 24–36.

Thornwood is reached from the north edge of Fernwood, or from Highmoor's west road. Warden Elowen keeps a small safe camp at the south entrance, with a fire, a waystone and a board of tasks.

Places

• The Briar Thicket, north of the camp: thorn wolves and briar toads. The pack is led by Thornfang, an alpha. Kill it first and the rest falter.
• Witchwood Hollow, to the west: hex witches whose curses slow you, bog lurkers in the mud, and marsh wisps at night.
• The Elder Grove, in the north-west: twisted treants among yew and the only elderwood trees in the world.
• The Coven Circle (level 30+), in the north-east: three hags fight together. See Bosses.

Quests

Warden Elowen gives Thinning the Thorns, Hexes and Herbs and The Coven. Finishing The Coven earns the Covenbreaker title. See the region page for every monster and drop.
